The images below were taken of my first sugar sculpture, Pink Mound, installed at North Harris College January 31 and February 1, 2004. The sculpture consisted of 450 lbs of sugar dyed with food coloring and then made into cubes. These cubes were then stacked and finished off with 'wet' sugar acting as mortar and encasing. Over the course of several weeks, the sculpture weathered and here are the results
